The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. For several mornings in a row, this tom turkey was guarding and guiding his females. He would watch the traffic on Rt. 6, and then, when no cars were coming, he would gobble once, and the hens would run safely across the highway.
